Overview
Adiabatic pre-cooling added to a V-shaped dry cooler, for sites that can spare only a fraction of the water a cooling tower would use.
- Counterflow, adiabatic pre-cooling, axial fan, induced draft
- Capacity range 250-2,000 kW; maximum entering fluid temperature 60 C
- Annual water savings above 90% compared with conventional cooling towers
- Coil freeze-up safeguard allows operation on pure water, on average 8% more capacity than glycol systems
