Overview
Air-cooled screw chiller built on Carrier's 06T geared twin-screw compressor, for large comfort and process cooling plants.
- 06T geared twin-screw compressor with variable capacity slide valve, continuous unloading between 30 and 100 percent of full load
- Nominal cooling capacity across the 30XA range from 280 to 1,755 kW (80 to 500 tons)
- R-134a refrigerant only, on a flooded multi-tube evaporator with a centre tube sheet splitting two independent circuits
- Optional Novation microchannel condenser coils, up to 60 percent lighter than conventional coils and easier to clean
- AeroAcoustic low-noise axial fans and Touch Pilot touchscreen controls; optional factory-installed hydronic module
