Packaged air-cooled magnetic levitation chiller with modular Turbocor compressors and flooded brazed-plate heat exchangers.
- Air-cooled MagLev packaged line from 75 to 300 tons in ultra and high efficiency designs; flooded oil-free air-cooled range spans 280 to 1,400 kW with V-shape condenser
- Turbocor oil-free magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors with no oil circuit and no metal-to-metal contact in the bearings
- Compressor speed varies between 15,000 and 48,000 rpm; minimum load 15 percent and soft start current as low as 6 A
- Digital bearing control monitors rotor deviation six million times per minute and holds it within 0.007 mm
- Stainless steel brazed-plate flooded evaporator and condenser; integral free cooling, low sound accessories and coil coatings available
