Overview
Oil-free air-cooled centrifugal chiller range from the pioneer of magnetic-bearing chiller technology.
- Air-cooled AD/AE series from 40 to 500 tons (approximately 140 to 1,760 kW); T-Class Air models from 200 kW up to 1,800 kW
- One to four oil-free magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors per unit, giving inbuilt redundancy and wide turndown
- Standard air-cooled models are over 70 percent lower in sound power than a standard screw machine, typically below 85 dBA at 1 metre to AHRI-575
- All fans are EC variable speed with low pressure drop micro-tube coils; V-coil condenser design resists dust, hail and UV
- Smardt Fast Restart returns the unit to service in 120 seconds or less; R-134a with R-513A, R-515B and R-1234ze low-GWP options
