Overview
Direct-drive helical rotary screw chiller with two independent refrigerant circuits, for precise-temperature comfort and industrial duty.
- Direct-drive hermetic helical rotary (twin screw) compressors, one per refrigerant circuit, with fewer moving parts than gear compressors
- Capacity range 80 to 250 tons (96 to 238 tons on 50 Hz); compact frame passes through a standard double door opening
- R-513A refrigerant for cooling and R-515B for heating, around 55 percent lower GWP than R-134a
- Best full-load efficiency 0.6242 kW/RT; ASME-constructed evaporator and condenser with electronic expansion valves
- Symbio 800 equipment controller with BACnet, LonTalk and Modbus connectivity; expanded heating capability up to 165 F where configured as a heat pump
