Overview
High-capacity gasketed plate-and-frame exchanger with the Ultraflex plate system, for unbalanced flows and close pressure-drop allowances.
- Flow range 0 to 5,750 m3/h (25,400 gpm); connections DN25 to DN500 (1 in to 20 in)
- Maximum working pressure 25 bar (363 psi); temperature range -40 C to 180 C
- More than 2,000 m2 (22,000 sq ft) of heat transfer surface in a single unit
- Ultraflex GX plates each carry two corrugation angles, giving six channel combinations for asymmetric duties
- Uses only 10-50% of the space of a shell-and-tube unit; NBR, EPDM or Viton gaskets; ASME coded frames available
